I would imagine this to be what some of the Portis/Radio Head sessions might've sounded like
if they were just jammin lolol

I love these, I didn't think anyone was doing this kinda shit on NG. Good work man.

Genclops responds:

Well that is an awesome compliment - Love both those heads.

Glad you dig it

This is just too ill for it's own good...

The bass riff reminds me of some Shinki Chen shit and the drums!
I waaaannaa ssaaamppllee ttheeemm druuuuuuums!!!

I couldn't stop thinking of a stoned monkey the whole time.

Genclops responds:

If you sampled any of this I would be stoked. If you ever need some bass samples I would be happy to lay something down for you if yer ever needin.

Shit this totally reminds me of when I used to play that roaming DragonBall Z game on the GBA, made me think of this one time when I found a GBA (The newer models) on a bus with Castlevania inside of it... Good times

I love these video game loops, you're really good at taking people through time!

Genclops responds:

Grazie - twas my endeavor

Good 'un

Genclops responds:

Thank'un

Shit is mad grimey.

It's like walking home from a bar drunk as fuck all alone starin at city lights and people.

It's almost sobering, and carries an unexpected moment of clarity with it.

I dig to infinity.

B-RadGfromOV responds:

I know that feel!

I did enjoy it!

It's got the energy that the original didn't have which is the perfect shit for
fighting games.

I wrecked face with Roll in MvC 2 today with this song playing (Never happens)
so thank you. My boy has thoroughly eaten his words.

Cam3leon responds:

Awesome! Haha glad I could be of service for that match :)
And yeah, I didn't do much but take the original and bring it into the 21st Century a little bit. But glad you liked the approach! Lemme know if you got any requests!!

Shit vibes with the night, oh. maaaan!

B-RadGfromOV responds:

Yeah it does thanks BOULLIE

You're back!

You got some more?

NiteCrow responds:

I'm KINDA back ^^ I'm currently testing out some new stuff, like drums, basses and stuff, improving my overall quality and shit, so i don't really know if i'll be uploading anything soon. I have some secret projects, and this one is just a taste of it i guess ^^

This is dope, not gonna lie though, I really want someone to do a trap version of some Nintendo shit... >.>

Cam3leon responds:

Haha thanks dude! Funny enough, a LOT of Kirby tunes seem to mesh well with Lex Luger...I'ma hafta look in on that lol...

Did the Cosmonaut die? Or is he just adrift and thinking that he's going to die...

At the end it sounds like he may have just come to peace with the shitty situation.
Come to think of it, this whole thing sounds like something you'd hear if you were in position
to take the vastness of the cosmos in and witness the beauty of it all.

If this song conveys the feelings that the Cosmonaut had before he was admitted to his tomb, I should think that all of us would rather feel death on this sort of emotional plane rather than the fear we usually associate with death and dying, hell, even living...

This one brought me places.

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

He's adrift, for sure. Waiting. Disbelief. Panicking. Then, yes, settling and coming to peace. The very last seconds of the song representing a "loss of transmission" tone.

I had been doing some reading on the "Phantom Cosmonaut" conspiracies. Some people believe that there may have been Soviet Cosmonauts that have died in space and were covered up. One was reported to have floated away from earth. There's another, a woman, who burned up in her return capsule and was apparently recorded as it happened >> The Torre Bert Recordings. Check it out. It's a pretty interesting.

I had also had a buddy tell me a month ago or so of a short story he read called "Kaleidoscope", by Ray Bradburry. Which chronicled a similar tale of some astronauts that get stranded in earths orbit. The story unfolds as they all talk to each other over their comms. They ultimately fall back down to earth and burn up in the atmosphere. I still need to get my hands on that.

And finally: Jeremy Geddes paintings. Phenomenal.

So, my head has been all abuzz with thoughts like this. A good track to craft as my Winter depression keeps me locked in, heh.

Oh, and this is the first take, too. I've been working on an alternate, more refined, and better flowing cut.

Thanks a lot for the review, Boullie.

In the end, this is personal. I post some of it cause... well... I like talkin bout/sharin/listening to/discovering/etc. beats! Tell me how you feel tho. I've really grown from this community's honesty
