THIS is fuckin cooool!

As for the mud? I think it adds character, gives all the other sounds a foundation to stand on much like bass does, on the issue of taking it out, it's hard to deal with sounds at that octave like this. They lose a lot of their bite, or rather, it's like they get a massive underbite that drags on the fuckin floor.

if I ever find a way around it besides EQing and VST perversion i hope I remember to let you know if you don't figure out your own method

the 8-bit sound is a native plugin from FL Studio called GMS. the bass or background synth is from sampletank 3 and the strings sound is a synth effect from sytrus i believe, which is also native to FL Studio. The voice synth is speech synthesizer, again native FL Studio. and the drums are a mix of bumber delux and addictive drums 2.
