i know some people who are gonna want to sample this, myself included. Why this has such a low score is beyond me, it's beautiful on it's own, but wait til someone chops it up and REEEALLY fucks with it.

It'll have like a million different forms by the time NG beat heads are done with it lmao

BenTibbetts responds:

Thanks! I'm glad you like it. Yeah, I'd love to hear somebody mess around with this material. If you sample this, let me know--I'll do what I can to promote your track.

Yo im bout this shit right here.

it's cool as you like, but reflective too, like you could meditate to the jam. The title with the beat
makes me think of a few figures who attained enlightenment through martial arts in Japan's warring days.

Musashi, Morihei Ueshiba, Yamamoto Tsunetomo. All the lessons I've learned from them feel caught within this beat. I've always tried to capture that but never got there, thanks for showing one way to do it!

That is the illest distortion ever, you really made that shit fit

Promethicus responds:

hell yea good looking Boullie!

thanks dude that is the legendary boss 303 timestretch :)

There ain't an artist on NG that can claim to sport these Sith lord fuckin drums duke.

God-fuckin-DAMN. HOW!??!?!?

S-Rock responds:

I do it for those who are willing to use my shit as a learning experience. With me! Thanks dude.

You had me at "Kick"

You deserve honesty, I skimmed through most of this, stopping at key moments where things changed up so I could absorb "the points" (if you'll allow me to be so pretentious for a minute. im sry ily..)

I took in most of this, listened to about 3/4 of it so far, but this is a surprisingly easy listen. I will take the time to breathe it in more thoroughly, but I had to tell you that what's up so far is DOPE

Not some shit I expect to find around here. Got my attention for sure

Everytime I try to get off these pads someone put out some shit to bring me right back

Gotdamn the cycle is nice

B-RadGfromOV responds:

It's the cyyyycle of liiife.

Fell in love at 13 and haven't left the filth of this beat alone since. Gotdamn phos this is gonna have me on some nasty vibes for a minute. You mighta just inspired every fuckin beat I make today

phosphorusprocedure responds:

O shit

I know I would freak this by adding shit to it. The element comin in at 21 was fun to sing to. This whole loop is on some walkin cross countrysides and landscapes vagrancy shit. I get that traveling man vibe from it, like I got somewhere destiny needs me to be.

I'll get at you on them kits a lil later, soon as I stop bein lazy wit it

B-RadGfromOV responds:

Kits would be great. Haven't got quality drum sounds in so long, and can't seem to find anything surfing the googles..

I'm glad I follow you. That's how this makes me feel. Downloaded, faved, playlisted, etc what the fuck ever. This is a rare kind of atmosphere for me to hear on Newgrounds. Not the feel per se but the execution, I wanna call it flawless but I'd rather just let it be it's own lil world instead of categorizing it with some bullshit adjective.

I love where this takes me. Word is bond.

Waidmann responds:

thank you.

In the end, this is personal. I post some of it cause... well... I like talkin bout/sharin/listening to/discovering/etc. beats! Tell me how you feel tho. I've really grown from this community's honesty
